Age:  Unknown ( age is undetermined due to radical advances of his metamorphosis ability ).
Apparent Age:  Mid to Late 20's.
Place of Birth:  Sunside/Starside.
Eye Colour:  Scarlet ( when angered ), mostly a rich wet dark hue.
Hair Colour:  Night-black.
Height:  Six foot and two inches.
Weight:  One hundred and eighty pounds.
Race:  Wamphyri ( Great Vampire ).

Weapon(s) of Choice: Wamphyri Battle Gauntlet, Long sword ( average ), Ex Inferis ( special imbued blade; see image below v ).


Equipment:  Armor of Darkness:  Xavien wraps himself in the stuff of shadows, creating a dark mantle that protects him.  This sheathes Xavien in shadows that resemble a shapeless cloak, which may be used to mold the darkness into any given specific form, like clothing, robes or even a skin tight suit of armor.
Relics:  Cloak of Shadows, ON THERE WAY.

Alignment: Meticulously Evil.

Abilities:  Mind-smog, Mind-block, Mesmerize, Fortitude, Potence, Celerity, Animal Empathy, Telepathy and Create Mist.
Unique Ability:  Metamorphosis ( so far advanced that he can manipulate the shadows - Obtenebration like -  as well as his own body ).

History:  One of the most arresting figures of the Wamphyri.  This striking creature is clearly insane, but he isn't the cackling, madcap sort of insanity.  He is delusional ( and highly religious in a twisted perverted sense ), paranoid, psychotic, hired out mercenary, and believes himself to be the Judge, Jury, and Executioner of those unfit and unworthy that have been given the dark gift of immortality.

Though the rest of his history is a mystery of any sort that have plagued the Szgani Travellers as well as the Wamphyri with such persistence and urgency as the details of his origins and of the identity of his mysterious progenitor.  There have been so many tales, mutually contradictory accounts from both sides.  Yet which tales contain there truth?  Was the Wamphyri known only as The Ashen Knight born from the swamps?  The last ditch effort of a Lord to survive the final death?  An unnamed traveler from the East?  Or had he been merely a simple man?  or from another wellspring entirely?

The secret may lie hidden forever.  In the meantime, there is no shortage of speculation, though those who draw too close to the truth, or those that come to hunt, may find themselves studied and hunted in turn.
