Forsynthia hadn’t journey far when coming across the bristling sounds rippling through a lonesome forest, crickets chirping and even the dull far away sound of the owl hooting in discontentment of the night, a sorrowful sound but beguiled with all the mysteries of the darkness itself. Now a hunter, she didn’t care if it was bat or wolf, both of them dying just as sweetly as the other, no longer was she fussy about whether they were evil or good, they were cursed therefore not under the grace of god or the smiles of angels now are they? Scoffing slightly, while hiding behind a massive poplar truck, back scrapping against the rough surface while sword was drawn and raised against her chest, and here she waited. There were undead around here, she could smell then, taste them on the wind, now it was simply a matter of which one should themselves first, and which one wanted to die first.[/align:75f3cdc47a]

Marius didn't really think too much while he was striding through the forest, he had always been the more hot tempered one out of his brothers, never really seeing eye to eye with any of them. But not really bothering to either. He prided himself on action rather than sitting around trying to be couth about it. They were starving, what was there to talk about? The damn wolves had come, taking over the country like the Black Plague that ravaged most of Europe, why cower inside denying the fact. It was time to survive, surely the kindred of Romania could see this? Just why was no one acting? It was sheer madness.

He muttered under his breath, curses and hexes in the old Romanian tongue, words that one as noble as him would never use, the anger took over his mind and at the moment he could think of nothing else other than arriving at the doors of the voivode and banging his head through the damn cold stone walls he thought he was safe hiding behind "Cowards" he spat. Walking blindly, not even noticing he wasn't alone, Marius simply didn't care if someone was hiding behind a bush wanting to take his blood or extinguish the black flame burning in his heart. He knew they were there.

Maybe if patience was a virtue he would have ignored her. Halting abruptly and spinning around to face the exact position of her location, then speaking loudly "You may as well come out. I know you are there." Foot tapping, patience wearing more thin by every passing minute.

He crouched low in the darkness, not even the moonlight reflected in its eyes as it watched the unsuspecting vampire enter the clearing, unsuspecting, so foolish and clumsy. Black fur melded with the night, massive bulk hidden by the umbral shadows that drapped around him like a blanket. Even the heartbeat remained at a dull thud, knowing vampire senses could easily detect him if he wasn't careful at maintaining his subterfuge in the nights embrace. It was now only a matter of time before he would attack, and attack he shall.[/align:1ba9a63d4c]

Seemed he was not alone, the solo party appeared to have tuned into a happy like trio for mayhem. They thought they were so silent, unseen, unheard. What silly little fools they were. Snickering to himself, left hand casually rising to wipe off some web that stuck to the velvet of his jacket, then furling hand to examine nails while the female made herself known. Would she dare or stay hiding in the shadows like the peasant wolf? A sneer forming to the corner of parched lips, wondering if at all these two had any conviction behind their intrusion. Yes, intrusion, this was HIS families territory.[/align:0c8aa6bbeb]

Did her ears serve her correcty? cerainly not. To be called a coward was something do removed from the truth Forsynthia choked to falter the words from surfacing to the contrary. She was no lady and didn't mind pulling the punches with curseful words and physical vehemence. There was nothing left to do, her game was up and the cards now on the table. This vampire seemed rather on edge, or just had an attitude that really got under her skin and the nerves.

Walking out from the shadows, now only standing a few yards from the male before her. Hand gripping the handle of her sword with judgmental conviction. Legs only a small width apart while words sung out "I assure you, I am no coward!" Lips in spiteful grimace. There was something else in the wind,a scent she couldn't put her finger on, of danger, possibly,or something far more fun than simple banter.[/align:4928d212ab]

The subtle touch of distant tension wafted on the light breeze and Lotus could sense it.  He stopped along the worn forest path and reached out to the night with his hand, making a gesture as if to remove a spiderweb, then shook off the notice and continued a few paces.  The scent of garou came from further ahead, and something else.  A thought occurred to him, 'With tension must come disorder.'

He crouched low to the ground.  After being sure of the direction of which he should go to encounter what may be gathering ahead, a snarl passed over his face like an ocean wave brushing the length of a ship, and he bolted toward the group as fast as he could.  'Let them give chase,' he thought while his legs pounded hard and fast at the ground.  'Let these hunters become the hunted.'

Vibrations and smells gave the game away and before any of them could react the wolf leaped forwards, using the mass of its size and weight against the male, bringing its side immediately into his quarters, slamming against his body but surely if he was quick enough and agile on his feet he could move out of the way, but he would have to give up the girl. It was accept and pay the price or allow his eyes to dine on her death, either way, the wolf was getting his pound of flesh.

Having aimed to slam against the man, again it would lunge forwards head on, enormous blackened maws opening only to snap sharp canines at her side, left claw rising to swipe in the same action in order to confuse and force her to take one of the attacks, because there was no way possible she was good enough to escape two. Garou speed wasn't easily matched by vampires unless they were of the 'old' blood- and as far as he could tell, they were nothing more than fledglings fallen from the nest.

It was in the attack, senses of scent and hearing picking up another rapidly approaching, but should the beast be lucky enough, these would be dead before the approaching stranger had enough time to blink.

There had been no time to answer the cocky girl before something large slammed against Marius, his balance faltering as he was knocked to the ground, having been anaware of the Garou already on their scent and thinking he had a little more time. He hit the ground hard, gaining a mouthful of dirt and grass as he skittled across the ground like nothing more than a tumbleweed. Having to roll and bring his form into a crouch before legs snapped him upright just as the wolf lunged for the female. "Rude wolf, I was in the mist of conversation!!" Wiping the fragments of dirt from his shoulder, then quickly with four steps and a lean forwards, both of his hands grabbed for the Garou's bushy black tail. Since it was busy attacking the girl, there was no way it could turn around mid attack and move quick enough to escape his grip that would painfully yank the beast backwards, pulling its bite away from her just in time.

The night was finally growing more interesting, and after all he knew never to arrive at the Dracul house empty handed, perhaps a nice fresh wolf skin for the floor was just the thing he needed?

Had she heard another approaching or engaging in a battle of his own. With the howls of wolves and the silence of the forest that once breathed, Forsynthia became swiftly uneasy with the situation. The male addressing her had an air about him the demanded dominance, maybe he was a Prince or a Lord of some covenant/house? Either way she wasn't sure if she wanted to stick around and find out for herself, but there was no time to turn and stroll away like the confrontation meant nothing. No sooner had he spoke, a large wolf had attacked them, knocking him to the ground and now coming for her. Forsynthia took a step backwards, but it was not enough to move her figure completely away. Drawing her sword, and swinging it around towards the direction of the wolf's attack, hoping that since it was lunging towards her with mouth and teeth willing to taste her blood that perhaps the motion and path of her sword would indeed give him something to chew on.

She was no longer brave, having heard the legends of the wolf but never before coming across one until now, she couldn't help but scream in a loud, disharmonious manner that if her sword did not grace his flesh, that perhaps the scream would be enough to put him off his game and give her another shot at it.

Sword now in hand Lotus broke into view.  A kindred held onto the tail of an imposing beast attempting to reach a woman brandishing a sword of her own.  This did not look good for the wolfs adversaries, but Lotus had no time to size them up.  He was running full speed now, the sweet vitae pushing through his legs only served to increase his momentum.

He was now on a collision course with the wolf, his sword raised high in the air and posed to strike.

Despite the fool grabbing the length of tail and pulling back hard in a rather futile attempt to distract him off his target, or the blade of the female swinging across to slice its muzzle or even perhaps his throat. Maws peeled back, teeth snapping at the side of the female hard enough to almost impale flesh only to be torn and ripped away as the head swung around vicsiouly to deal with the man food rudely tugging at his tail. If she was not fast enough to fall backwards or leap backwards, there was no way to dodge the attack of teeth and claw that rushed her way. Swiping hard with enough power to completely send her flying through the air and land with a harsh THUD against a mighty trunk, placing her out of the fight, maybe to live another day? If you can call a vampire alive.

Instantly the attention thrashed around to address the meatsack holding its tail, eyes burning like sunsets, massive golded orbs smoldering with the flame of hell, massive haunches rippling with tendons and muscles even beneath the thick coat of matted black, blood and gore from previous kills, of mortal and vampire. Forefront legs pacing to bring its enormous body around to greet the vampire with snarling muzzle dripping with blood and strings of flesh hanging twixt canines, trophies of its kills from days before. A cacophonious growl gurgling from the back of its throat as haunches prepared for another attack... the frenzy already gripping its senses, disabling it from detecting another approaching vampire, nor the means or mentally capability to even care... the beast gripped its soul and now smothered any remaining glimpse of humanity, to the demon inside.

There was little he oculd do about the girl, then again she was a vampire hunter, so why care, she was just another pest out of the way, out of his hair and definately no longer a threat to his family, should her demise be as sweet as he anticipated. Now there was just one little glitch in the factor, now it had finished with the woman, now its sights had been turned on him and Marius felt a great discomfort ripple throughout his cold, dead body. Most Garou installed fear in nearly ever creature regardless of willpower, and Marius was no high ranking vampire by any means, not even in generation compared to his brother and sire Lambach Ruthven.

A growl, and that last wish for air, if Marius had the abillity to breathe his own wit would have surely suffocated him and right at the very moment he was feeling anything but brave. Right hand sweeping out to grab his sword, though knowing by the time the blade was out,the wolf would be upon him tearing out his insides like a child opening a present. Eyes never leaving the eyes of the werewolf, not even realizing another player had come into this coup of perverse entertainment, hopefully this stranger knew how to hold his ground and attack the wolf in its blind spot, or even giving Marius enough time to draw his weapon and fight the wolf together, then argue about whatever his buisness was afterwards.

There was little she could do, she was hoping the vampire would show some of his gentlemanly charm and actually defend her, vampire hunter of not. Pretty screwed that he basically just let the wolf have its evil way with her as she was slammed against the tree trunk and totally knocked out, perhaps even dead as far as the wolf was concerned, just sometimes it was better to play dead, or run, at least then you get to live another day, and every other day is just as good enough to die. So there she was, appearing lifeless in the dampness of grass. With a bit of luck the wolf would take out the damn vampire, one dead vampire is one less she has to kill, two for the price of one. Mess them up real good, and just hope the wolf doesn't come back to nibble on her bits, knowing her luck he probably would.

Lotus jumped as he gained on the mad beast.  A loud war-cry escaped his mouth as he grasped the sword handle with both hands while arching up through the air.  The strength that he has forced into the blow would be enough to rend flesh from a mans bones as if he was made of soft clay.  Only this monster was no man.

The sound of the metal blade bouncing off the back of the wolf's skull reverberated through the night.  Lotus did not stop long enough to survey the futility of his actions, although it did in fact do nothing other than draw attention to him, he kept running on.

She wasn't sure of she heard the sound of combat or if it was just her mind riding on the back of a nightmare? All she knew was that her body ached to move, if she did even move. Was it purely her imagination? There was no way for her to tell, the only she could do was silently pray and hope that death found her fart more swifter than the werewolf.
