She lay in bed. Sleep had taken over her body completely, well almost. A foul stench had entered the building, it travelled up the stairs and into the room of Katrina. She breathed in through her nose and choked on the smell, sitting up coughing, trying to catch her breath. "Trolls... no, rather troll."

It seemed no matter how one tried to cover themselves up with perfume or soap, your true side would always shine through. She hurried off of her bed, covers flying back. Trolls had never been a good thing, least not in her experience and not by stories heard and tales read. Small feet quietly moved to the door of her room, ten steps and she stopped at the staircase.

She was quiet, no one would hopefully notice her. She stood like a doll, anyone looking up would admire her perfectly molded body, naked flesh glowed under the candle light from the old chandeliers hanging from the ceiling. She looked like a statue, Lord Validrir would be congradulated for picking up such a magnificent piece, although a blindfold was quite odd... steps were heard below her. People were leaving, she listened to their conersation: something about a demon relic and Validrir's part in this play. Nose caught drifts of their scent, each one leaving... when the troll scent caught her, she held in her cough; that is until she heard doors shut behind the group. Hand to her chest as she began to gag on the air.

((Ooc: so sorry, I have been extremely busy. And was really at a loss on what to post next. I was going to allow you to say when it was the next day... so I was really pulling for something here. Anyway, I will hopefully be around more. Enjoy Sir.))

Validrir sat in his office for a short time after the maged had left. After only a minute he strangely passed into a deep slumber. He saw in his mind's eye, three people standing a ways outside the city, reading from an ancient book. Magic was envoked and he could feel its power. It was foreign magic, such as he'd never felt before. Quite suddenly he snapped out of his sleep, and lept out of his chair. The sleep had only lasted about half a minute, in fact he deciced it was more of a transe. He could still feel the magic's power as he left his office and turned onto the main hall. As he walked, he turned and looked up at the stair case briefly. A moment later he registured what he'd seen and took a double take. There he saw Silver standing naked on the stair case. His mouth dropped open at the sight. Her face, he knew was completely beautiful, and the rest of her was no less stunning. He was also surprised to see her there, naked much less.

"I, you, uh." He stammered. "My lady, are you some what..... lost?" The sentance finally came.

She had been coughing so hard she didn't hear the foot steps coming below her. Lord Validrir's voice rang through the hall to her ears. She stood up immediately, hair bouncing back and falling over her breasts. She smiled down at him, trying to hide that he had startled her; she could feel her heart beating within her chest. She moved her hands to move her hair to her back, fingers brushed up against naked flesh across her breasts. She "looked" up to Validrir, her expression on her face turned to one of horror. Peach flesh turned rose. Hands flipped her hair around to cover her nipples. A bow, deep our of respect to him before turning around and disappearing to her room. No one had ever seen her nude before, sans herself before she lost her eye sight. Head peeked out from her door frame, "No, not lost, Sir. I heard voices and the stench of the troll awoke me. I was coming out to see what the ruckus was..." deep breath in, "I apologise for walking out without any garb on, I am so ashamed..." and yet a slight trickle of her vanity came through and hit her.

She lowered her voice, "No, Katrina... not again, never again..."

"Yes, well, that is... understandable." He said still in a startled manner. He turned then and left the hall, going to the top of his tower. After several minutes he reached the upper most room, a sleeping place for some of his angelic army, and went to a winding stone stair case that lead to a door in the ceiling. Comming out onto the roof, he went to the edge and looked out acrossed his domain. He could not explain why he was so unerved by this feeling of magic. It wasn't like any thing had happened. There was no evidence that it was even to be evil magic. But he was unerved none the less.

Lord Validrir had answered her briefly before footsteps were heard leaving the primary area. She quickly put on her clothes, finger fumbling with the bodice, ribs adjusting to the constant strain of the garb. She left the room quickly, and to the stairs. She took each step with care, bare feet touching down on cold flooring finally. She heard the rustle of wings and made her way to the guards at the doors. Fingers reached up, feeling the wings. The guards seemed kind enough to allow her to do so. She almost cooed into a feathered wing completely and embraced the kind guard. "Thank you for keeping us safe..." she bowed to him before turning and leaving.

Counted footsteps to the dining room, to the kitchen, and then to the garden. She had an abnormally excellent memory to recall her way around new places. Again, she was greeted by the scents of the flowers. She stepped her way to the fountain and took a seat, hands folding in her lap. She looked to the sky, a sigh escaped her lips. She missed her father everyday she breathed. "Father, I have travelled to a land of peace, much like ours used to be. And I stay in a tower of wonderous delight... I wish I could tell you how beautiful it must be, but I can not. The materials and the servants are so delicious though..." her fingers moved to her eyes, rubbing them delicately as if she was crying. She wanted to, she could feel the emotions coming but no tears came. Rubbing irritated them and blood began to fall.

She bowed her head, listened... no sounds. She removed the now soaked cloth from her eyes. She placed the black material into the fountain, cleaning it off. She brought up handfuls of water to her face, and began to rinse off her eyes. The cold sting of water hitting open wounds made her wince with pain, but she kept on. Hands rung the cloth and she held in in her hands. Head to the sky again, the light bouncing off of mirror shards, "Daddy... what have I become?"

Validrir looked out across his kingdom, his world. The dream had been so vivid, so real. It was what he knew as god sight. All the gods and goddesses had it. It alerted them to occurences of importance with in thier own realms. But so far , this was only the second time he'd ever experienced it. The first time being during the early years of his reign, when a rebellion of demon worshipers had formed an army against him. With a sigh he looked down off of the tower, and saw Silver in the garden below. Of course it was too high for him to know it was her by sight, for she was little more than a dot to him, but he knew instinctively that it was she. Validrir stood back then and stretched his arms out. Almost immediatly light gathered in the palms of his hands and traveled up his veins to the backs of his sholders. Soon it formed into great wings of golden light that were transparent yet, whole.  With a single beat of these wings he took to the air and soared down to the gardens in a large spiral.  As he landed the wings disolved and fell to the earth in a glittering shower, then were gone.

"It is rather late my lady, to be up and about. I myself would be asleep, though somthing had troubled me." He said from across the garden. From where she was sitting he could see her back, though here face was to the sky. "Is every thing alright?"

Still looking to the sky, no answer was heard. Her father had been long gone and still she talked to him as if he were still alive. The sound of clothes rustling in the wind was heard but oddly enough there was no breeze. Silver didn't give it much thought.

Lord Validrir had landed so quietly, or perhaps it was that she was lost in her own thoughts, that she didn't notice he was there until he spoke to her. It startled her so! She quickly snapped her head down and looked back to him for an elf second, hair flowing around her face mostly covering her eyes, if anything he would have thought it had been the colour of her eyes. She turned back around, back facing him. A single tilt of the head; hair fell over her shoulders, enough to hide her eyes.

"You startled me, Sir. I wasn't expecting company, but by all means, please stay." She breathed in slowly, "I am most certain it is late. If it hadn't been for the Troll I would still be dreaming of times long gone, of dreams flying through the sky. I bet its wonderful." She paused for a bit, "Or perhaps it is the fact that by now I am so used to sleeping on the ground, the most comfortable bed was too much for my senses," she had said it in a jovial way. Her tone changed back though quickly, "And I am quite embarassed about walking around with no garb. It isn't something society welcomes, I apologise to you again, it is something that doesn't need to be seen..."

Her hands still held the soaking bloody cloth. She held it in fron of her and rung it out a bit before she started to clean off her flesh around her eyes. He had asked her if everything was alright. She nodded slowly, "Just thinking of times far gone. I find myself talking to my father even though he is no longer on this plain... and my eyes have dried and began to hurt. I can not sleep with the annoying pain." Damp cool cloth against dried cracked flesh, she sighed out of relief. "And yourself? Why are you awake?"

Validrir went to answer Silver's question but suddenly saw an explosion of terrible power off in the distance. No doubt the same magic he'd felt earlier. Immediately his brought his wings back and took to the sky. Heading to the place where the magic was originating.

(OOC: I'm moving the entire story to the section in Vertalin'thral called "For love."
We'll keep the whole thing there, so we won't have to jump around.)
