Lord Validrir had answered her briefly before footsteps were heard leaving the primary area. She quickly put on her clothes, finger fumbling with the bodice, ribs adjusting to the constant strain of the garb. She left the room quickly, and to the stairs. She took each step with care, bare feet touching down on cold flooring finally. She heard the rustle of wings and made her way to the guards at the doors. Fingers reached up, feeling the wings. The guards seemed kind enough to allow her to do so. She almost cooed into a feathered wing completely and embraced the kind guard. "Thank you for keeping us safe..." she bowed to him before turning and leaving.
Counted footsteps to the dining room, to the kitchen, and then to the garden. She had an abnormally excellent memory to recall her way around new places. Again, she was greeted by the scents of the flowers. She stepped her way to the fountain and took a seat, hands folding in her lap. She looked to the sky, a sigh escaped her lips. She missed her father everyday she breathed. "Father, I have travelled to a land of peace, much like ours used to be. And I stay in a tower of wonderous delight... I wish I could tell you how beautiful it must be, but I can not. The materials and the servants are so delicious though..." her fingers moved to her eyes, rubbing them delicately as if she was crying. She wanted to, she could feel the emotions coming but no tears came. Rubbing irritated them and blood began to fall.
She bowed her head, listened... no sounds. She removed the now soaked cloth from her eyes. She placed the black material into the fountain, cleaning it off. She brought up handfuls of water to her face, and began to rinse off her eyes. The cold sting of water hitting open wounds made her wince with pain, but she kept on. Hands rung the cloth and she held in in her hands. Head to the sky again, the light bouncing off of mirror shards, "Daddy... what have I become?"
