Kenoras remained where he was while he watched the events unfolding around him. He was waiting for either of the angel's or even Validrir himself to attack him. He lisyened to everything the lord said to him, but Kenoras didn't respond. Instead, Star did, screaming out at the god in a fury after hearing the degrading remarks made about Kenoras, as well as all demons and devils. He smiled when he saw her defend him so, and it pleased him that he wasn't alone. But then the girl began to emanate with a mysterious and powerful aura, and her flesh even began to glow. Kenoras was an ancient devil, but even he had never felt an energy like hers in his entire existence. Her blood line was even more pure and more closely linked to the first of all devils then he was.
It was a surprising thing to be priviliged to see, but the fact that her power was so pure gave him great joy. He had been alone through his existence, unable to stomach any of the females of his kind he had ever seen, but this devil woman before him was already appealing to him. They would create many perfect and unholy vessels of destruction the likes of which hadn't been seen for millions years. It will be glorious... Kenoras thought to himself as he looked back to Validrir, who had begun to attack him finally. Kenoras stood there as a small orb of reddish yellow energy appeared in the grasp of his right hand. He closed his fist, and the energy shot out from his hand and took the shape of a sword as Kenoras began to raise the blade up to block even as it was still forming.
Just in front of his face, and invisible at first, a sort of blueish white haze lingered in the air before Kenoras. Unknown even to Kenoras, it was Anigav moving to aid in his defense from the god's attack, since the life forces of Anderen, Kenoras, and herself were all connected. She couldn't allow even Kenoras' to be killed, no matter how evil he was. However, as fast and suddenly as the blue haze had began to form, Kalamos had stepped in front of Validrir's attack as he came from nowhere seemingly. Kal slowed the attack just enough that Kenoras had time to step out of the way, even though he still held his own sword up in front of him. He was surpriased at how damaged kalamos was after the smoke cleared, and he watched as the angelic warrior limped off into the tower, then he looked back to the lord.
The lord told him to leave and go where he wished, which also pleased Kenoras, as he continued to listen to what else was said. Next the lord explained himself and what he had said to Star and Kenoras, who Kenoras was hoping wouldn't believe his lies. He tried once more to speak to her with his thoughts as Validrir finished speaking and also went into the tower. The drow followed Kalamos, and it left just the two angel's and then himself and Star. He moved over to her and looked down to her, finally taking her advice as he changed his appearance, his body shrinking and taking on the look of a human. When he was finished, he made eye contact with Star Sister...What stops us from slaying these two here and now? Their god has abandonded them. You saw with your own eyes that he moved to attack me first, I did nothing. And yet you will fight for his behalf, fight to protect him and his kind? His holy underlings look upon us with both contempt and hate, they seek to kill us as we do them. Your companion, the one with angelic wings, is not like the others. I get a feeling he is very different from any ordinary angel. I have no quarrel with him, since such is the case. You and I are alone here, we have no others of our kind to watch our backs. Surely you must see the logic in what I say. Aid me, sister. he thought to Star, before turning to look at the angel's.
"You both had better go inside. Your god may have said to begone from here, but he also said to go whereever I wish. Interestingly enough, I wish to remain here. So I shall. Thus you had better leave my presence, or else I will be forced to remove that which annoys me from the area, from existence even. Now go. Mercy is not something I show very often, pitiful cretins." he said, his voice deep and resonating. He watched as the angel's both took his warning and moved inside the tower, leaving just himself and Star to remain outside. He looked back at her as he waited for her answer to what he had thought to her.
