IC: The Path of the White Wolf

[Karate McNaughty]

Reita had awakened to the sounds of claws skittering across the floor. Taka was no where to be seen, but a rather large looking cat had found its way onto the bed. Reita stared at the cat. Something about it seemed odd to him. Odd and familiar. The cat was Taka. The cat had a shiny coat of black and dark golden stripes, similar to a tiger's.  

Into the room bounded a wolf of pure white fur. He sat down at the doorway. The wolf tilted its head, then stuck out its tongue.

"My name is Faelan. I am the guide to order. You've been asleep for quite some time. The servants are annoyingly dull." The wolf spoke with an uppity British accent, similar to the dream version of Calder.

Taka, the cat, hid within Adio's bed. His tail was puffed until it was twice its normal size. Reita rose an eyebrow. So this was Taka's disguise?

Reita turned back to Faelan. "All right. Well..uhhh..grant us some privacy, please."

The wolf trotted off. Reita rolled his eyes. "I thought he wasn't coming for two days. Either two days came quickly and I've been asleep for two days or that wolf travelled quickly." Reita muttered to Adio, not really knowing if he were awake or not.

[Aoi]

[align=center]Adio sat up his eyes strained and dilated as he rubbed them yawning he'd twitch feeling something furry hiding under the covers..


"....Who knows with that sort of thing really.''



he seemed overly tired even though he had slept how well was the question..Nimble fingers reached petting Taka.


"What a cute little form to have Taka..A poofy kitty cat.''



He'd laugh softly watching as the wolf walked out.


"He doesnt know the half of my Eejits..''


He grinned at Reita even for how tired he seemed to be..He rolled back the covers for himself and Reita and got up shivering lightly at how cool the late morning air was..Reaching he'd unlock his standing closet and pick out a new outfit and put it on.



"I wonder whats in store for us..*yawn* Reita-kun..sorry..I didn't sleep well kept having bad dreams for some reason,none of them made sense..got about..three or four..maybe five hours in..and some idly between that but..um sorry if I keep yawning.''


He said turning around looking at Reita with a small smile before looking up at one of the above windows where the skyline was more visable.






"My...it's seven oclock?''


he blinked and yawned again before sitting down on the bed unscrewing his liprings he'd pull them from his skin and drop them in the plastic box on his closet as he stood up grabbing two new ones this time a  metallic white color to match his outfit..and then he'd grab a few of his necklaces putting them on,he'd walk into the bathroom then getting his hair fixed and his eyeliner and the light blue eyeshadow that was smeared to blend in with his eyeliner,it didn't take him long considering how well he liked to dress and considering the kabuki clothes were not only his favorite fashion but also durable for what he did everyday..He'd yawn again before sitting down on the bed sprawling out.


"I can see why I don't sleep much.''


He sighed sitting back up he'd grab his combat boots strapping and tying them up before standing up brushing his top off.


"Im really hygenic I can't help it.''


He'd say to Reita considering where he was now.[/align]

Reita just nodded. "I am going to have to come back in a few." Reita didn't wear the same size of clothing as Adio. He managed to quickly throw on his pants from the night before and slip on out of Adio's room.

Taka remained on the bed, staring towards the door. Taka's tail twitched as it wagged nervously. "I don't like that wolf, I tell ya. He's going to eat me." Taka whispered. He dug his paws into the blankets, not using his claws at all. "And I didn't do anything to him." His ears folded back. "It's like he can smell the..whatever it is that is on me."

The wolf waited patiently outside until Reita returned. The rhythmic thumping of his tail could be heard outside of the room. The wolf was growing bored, though. Reita took a long time to get ready. Perhaps even longer than the women of his court.

[Aoi]

[align=center]Deciding to bug Taka while he waited for Reita He snuck over toward the bed a slight pop heard and then a thudding A black wolf with one light blue eye and the other a peiricing yellow would jump up onto the bed without the slightest problem.






"Boo! I'm gonna eat you!"


Adio tryed to imitate an angry wolf the best he could..He had to do something to past the time.

Reita returned, glancing down at the wolf. The wolf looked up at Reita, then glanced towards Adio's room. The wolf laid down on the ground, smelling only the smells of Adio and wolf.

"Smells like a wolf is in there, bud." The wolf said softly. "A wolf and some tainted cat. Maybe I can win the cat over, eh?"

Reita laughed. "The cat is a man named Taka."

"Taka?! Aye! A man! Dear Gods!" The wolf would have facepalmed if he had hands.

Reita pushed open the door to see a wolf leering at the cat. Taka was on his hind legs, readying to swipe at Adio with claws extended. Taka hissed. His ears were folded back and there was no warning. The claws were unsheathed and Taka's left paw swiped towards Adio.

Reita grabbed Taka and Taka's small body twisted in Reita's grip. Reita held Taka by the nape of his neck. "Hey." He tapped Taka on his nose and Taka shook his head.

[Aoi]

[align=center]Irony had a funny way of lashing back out at you..


Adio didn't figure he'd scare Taka that easily and without further adieu' Taka's claws met Adio's face causing him to topple off the bed like some wooden toy..Once he hit the floor he'd sit up now back in his normal form a couple claw marks crossed the bride of his nose bled..He held his hand to the marks.



"Ow..That's what I get for trying to have alittle fun.''


Nothing on him had been messed up it seemed he had honed his shape shifting to the point where he wouldn't end up naked on the floor after shape shifting.





Much to Reita's misfortune.



He glanced up at Reita with a slight giggle then peered around the bed at the wolf.


[...Awkward moment~~]


he thought..rather embaressed now as he stood up brushing his clothes off.[/align]

The wolf, Faelan, didn't seem to pay much attention to Adio's mistake. He could totally understand Adio's point of view, having done that numerous times to a woman that he once loved. But her claws and teeth were much larger than those on that kitten. Reita still held Taka by the nape of his neck. Taka was limp, just looking down at Adio and the wolf.

"Taka, you behave yourself. I don't want to deliver a bloody kitty puzzle to Cybil. I think she'd murder me." He laughed.

Reita glanced towards Adio. Adio was not naked, and for whatever reason, Reita was glad. He felt that at this point, he should be the only one seeing Adio naked. But he wouldn't vocalize these thoughts. He was afraid that he'd be sounding selfish.

The wolf trotted towards the door. "All right, companions, we should go. Leave the kitty here. I don't think he'd survive the journey."

Taka curled into a ball after he was put down on the bed. Reita offered his hand to help Adio to his feet.

[Aoi]

[align=center]He took Reita's hand and hoisted himself up with his help..He let go of Reita's hand then to brush his clothing off.


"Haven't done that for years,pretty fun.''


When he looked up the scratch marks would be gone as he looked toward the wolf then nodded some.



"Alright then lets go.''



As Adio walked past the bed he gave Taka a quick pet.


"Sorry for scaring you.''

He said and followed the wolf and Reita out.

Taka purred, but remained on the bed. The wolf and Reita paused, waiting for Adio. Reita turned around and smiled. He wrapped his arms around Adio protectively. The wolf shook his head.

"Ah, we should get as far away from this place as possible. I want to distance myself from, ah, Chaotic creatures. They may follow and Calder does not want that. No, sirree." Faelan tilted his head. "But I don't know my way around the manor, so if you would be so kind as to lead the way." He glanced at Adio.

Reita folded his hands in front of himself, tilting his head as well. He was interested in this process, but gearing up for the worst. He was expecting a pain like torture.

[Aoi]

[align=center]Ado found Reita wrapping his arms around him in a protective manner almost in a 'he's mine' sort of way.
Adio smirked lightly before the wolf spoke to him,he looked down and nodded walking ahead of them,he easily escorting them downstairs and to the front door,he opened the door for Reita and the wolf before stepping out himself,he looked at Reita.


"Everything will be okay m'amore don't worry.''



He smiled halfly closing the door behind himself..Amber eyes turned to the wolf.



"Where to?''[/align]

Reita nodded, then stepped outside. Faelan followed Reita, then waited for Adio.

"We need to get to a point that is..pretty far from here. Well, generally, off this property. Just because of..that kitten. Oh, if only it were female." Faelan shook his head.

"Lead the way, good man. I don't know my way around this area. I may be fae, but I am not psychic." Faelan laughed good-naturedly.

Reita just smiled slightly. "This is going to hurt." He muttered to himself.

[Aoi]

[align=center]Eyes strained looking at Reita from the corners of them as he heard what Reita had mumbled he frowned lightly before giving attention back to the wolf.


"Oh,yes of course.''



Walking..then they'd have to go through the village..



Adio took lead his violin case thudding against his mid back for how massive the metal coffin shaped case was..Boots trodded against the dirt as he took them off the grounds of the manor to  a small patch of woods connected to the village's main entrance..Once they arrived there Adio stopped abruptly looking up at the sign his hand twitching lightly.


Some of the villagers tried to hang Adio from that sign..



Adio shook his head and lead the two into the village,Adio's demeanor suddenly very withdrawn and quiet as he'd keep his head down some of the villagers that passed by would glare at Adio..Others whispering that Adio was leading the two to their deaths..and others whispering why a man would love another man..Adio grumbled softly as he lead them on through the village.






"Should be out of the village here soon enough,just tell me where you'd want to go..theres a forest outcrop near the bottom of that mountain..And theres a small lake off to the right there..anything else beyond that is just woods and a few villager houses from later years that were abandoned.''


He said gently still not looking up.[/align]

"Just outside of the village should be fine enough." Faelan's tail wagged behind him as he walked. He turned towards the villagers. His steely blue eyes fixed on a few of them. There was this growing feeling that he wasn't welcome and Faelan never took kindly to such a feeling.

Reita started to feel a chill. He had noted a rather cold reception. It wasn't like these villagers cared about him. These villagers seemed to regard him with a chilly nature, as if they knew that something bad was going to happen. If only they really knew.

"Boy, you seem worried." Faelan spoke, looking up at Reita. "You shouldn't be so troubled. King Calder will take good care of you. Both of you. You'll like him. You met him in a dream. Besides, you two have love for each other. I'm sure that that counts for something. Calder loves love. I may be infatuated with anything that moves and is female, but..true love, that's something completely different."

[Aoi]

[align=center]Recruiting more victims for your death-march Adio-Sama?

Adio spun around is eyes dilated,fists clenching as he yelled at the Villager.


" Piss off?!"


The villager seemed slightly taken back and retreated into his home..Adio stood there his chest heaving up and down,fists clenched still he'd shake his head seemingly surprised at his actions he'd look back at Reita and the wolf.



"sorry...not to much of a good representation when it comes to these people...they've lost the respect for the family that gave them their lively hood.''


[Not to mention tryed killing me twice.]


He thought as he let his hands unclench sighing gently.


"...He's right Reita-kun...everything will be okay..I'm sorry I yelled,like I said most of these villagers if not all have no respect what so ever.''


He didn't seem to like getting angry,and the thought of him even yelling seemed to scare him to some degree..He turned leading them the rest of the way out of the village and then stopped.



"...Alright,here we are..''


He said turning around,he seemed slightly disgusted with himself and spoke gently,he sighed somewhat and looked up at Reita with a smile,hoping to some degree Reita wasn't too scared.[/align]

Reita folded his arms behind his back. He lowered his gaze. The wolf sat down on the ground. Reita rose an eyebrow and tilted his head towards Adio.

"You're going to have to tell me this story later. I'm curious." He stated bluntly. "Do you think we can fix this situation, Adio?"

The wolf stood, then trotted around the pair in a circle, staring at them with a predatory glare. He paused, then moved towards the center of the circle. His head arched towards the sky, and he howled. Reita shivered.

"Both of you, please place your right hand on my head." Faelan said.

Reita nodded, then placed his right hand on the wolf's head as instructed.
