She could slowly see his green eyes turn from plain and ordinary, to a deep angry glow as he listened to her story. As she curled up next to him he could feel the cold chill that had breached her skin, and seemed to have a horrible effect on her from the inside out. The cold eminating from her body slowly crept its way up his side, across his chest and into his heart, making him feel even angrier as he sat there.
Kindly pulling the blanklets around her, He got himself out of the bed and turned to her. She could see the ice cold look on his face, and the anger in his eyes. She could tell that right now, she wasn't looking into what she had known as the kind and gentle Cirden she had been getting to know. This was a different man. He stared into her eyes, trying to find the way to not lose control of himself and go berserk. This woman had felt pain before, but she wouldnt again.
He walked himself across the room, and in one swift motion pulled the bastard sword from its sheath, and turned back to her with his eyes still glowing angrily. Looking into his eyes she could slowly see his soul within changing from a nice man to a very dark being indeed. He had never cared for anyone. But suddenly in a short days time, he had become caring for a single woman. This woman had been hurt deeply in her past, and the man still lived.
In a very dark tone he finally spoke, "I may not have been evil before, but you havent seen anything yet m'lady. By the god's over me, if this man ever crosses my path, he will never see the light of day again."
He then thrusted the sword at the floor, then walked around the end of the bed, and approached her. "Never again love." He then picked her up blankets and all, and cradled her in his arms for a moment, trying to warm her, as he tried still to keep his anger under control, he kissed her lips passionately.
