Distinctive Items:

Daikoku Masamune: A katana made by one of the most talented swordsmiths in the land of Velusia. The swordsmith gave the sword to Zorin for the purpose of defending the land and it's people. The sword requires a lot of care for with the swordsmith being dead there would be no way to repair the sword should it break.

Zalentra longsword: As longswords go the Zalentra version is a bit sturdier in it's creation. The blade is balanced to it's wielder's specifications and made so that it is an extension of it's owner. The blade was also designed to absord and reflect magic as well as physically and metaphysically block it. The blade can damage ethereal creatures and magical creatures.

Composite Shortbow: With this bow Zorin is able to deal death with deadly precision in his ranged attack. The bow is carved in the typical Zalentran style with the snake curving about the tree which are carved on the bow's shaft.

Armor: Light plate armor which is made from a meteor found in abundance in Zalentra after the meteor storm spell brought them down upon the form kingdom. They allow for strong metal and light armor which is something prized in a land defended by knights.

Constantine-Horse ( breed:  Caspian) this light horse is used by only Zorin as the other knights use a different breed of light horse. Zorin's family bred these horses once which were used to deliver messages from kingdom to kingdom. After the creation of the light armor the horse was drafted by Zorin as his personal mounts.

Zorin was once a Black Knight roaming the area around Zalentra. He served no king, nor master, only himself, but he fought a crusade. A crusade to end the suffering of the people under the hands of tryants who ruled with fear and violence. When the king of Zalentra heard of this black knight he asked for his men to find him and bring him before him.  This was not an easy task, but eventually they persuaded Zorin to appear before the king. The king at that time was sane and ruled with peace and honor. He asked Zorin to become his first knight above all others and to lead his knights. Zorin at first turned this offer down, but after seeing how the people loved their king he changed his mind.

During his service as first knight Zorin came to discipline the knights in their ways giving them a code to follow. The evil queen Guiness however came to marry their noble lord and things began to change. Almost over night the king began to change becoming more and more chaotic. He began to endulge himself in his lust and thirst for flesh, sex, and anything else. The people began to fear the king for every night virgin's from the town disappeared around the castle. Rumors of the king bathing in the blood of these virgins and partaking of their flesh came to Zorin's ears. Zorin however had fallen in love with the noble lady Aurora and he let himself become distracted.

It wasn't long however that this distraction could not out weight his duty as a knight. In an attempt to clear up the rumors Zorin went to the throne room alone to talk with the king. However instead he found queen Guiness there, she worked her magic on Zorin who still wore the armor of the black knight which was not resistant to magic. She began to turn him against the king in hopes that she could become the one power of the lands. However there was no heir and without an heir the people would not allow her to rule. The king could not produce children so Guiness used Zorin to become with child and trick the king into thinking it was his. She then turned the king and Zorin against one another causing a civil war in the lands.

The knights were loyal to Zorin for their king had become mad, but the guards and soldiers were loyal to the king. The people were torn between the two factions. Zorin was freed from the spell put upon him thanks to his love for Aurora. He exposed the queen whom went into hiding, the king still mad attacked Zorin. The two fought in the throne room one on one as a crowd of knights, and nobles watched with hesitation. Zorin defeated the king after a long battle and the king turned his crown over to Zorin. Zorin did not want to be king and turned the crown down. Cousins to the king then began to fight over who would wear the crown their civil war brought down the glorious kingdom of Zalentra.

Feeling to blame Zorin left and went into hiding trying to atone for the sins he'd done. He'd betrayed his love and the land he loved all in one fell swoop. Over the years he took up work as a guide leading adventurers off into the wilderness in pursuit of fortune and glory. This was only a means to pay for his torture life to continue. One day he came across and lady and her son upon a beach the familiar perfume awoke him. It was the one love whose power had broken the dark magic of the evil queen. Without hesitation he left his new life to return to his old as a knight and the husband of Aurora. The kingdom had become a city-state within the lands of Velusia and he served the state as though it were the kingdom of old. The knights who remembered him came out of retirement and took up their swords once again.

Zorin would not let his guilt put the lands at risk again nor would he let his devotion to his cause falter ever again.
