Vahn thought about his sister, how much had he sacrificed in silence for her? So much, yet when she brought him back, he thought she was happy now, that he could live his own life. But Reagan had to come back, now more then ever Vahn had to protect her. He'd give Reinne a chance and then Honor, before he left to the Domina islands. He would go there perhaps to hide, or perhaps to lead Reagan there. A place were the two of them could fight it out once and for all. Whoever died there would never come back at least, Vahn knew a secret about the islands. A secret of the Thorne's lost long ago, but found by accident on one of Vahn's travels. Vahn rose from the bed, making his way over to his tattered clothing. This wouldn't do, but did it matter anymore, did anything matter? Reagan would strike when he least expected it, which meant it could be any time.
Vahn was just wasting time standing here in Demise, did he want to lead Reagan here? No Honor was here and that just wouldn't do, he'd have to lead Reagan far away. Vahn couldn't kill Reagan all those years ago, and he doubted he could now. Reagan must have watched them from hell, watched and waited for freedom. Reagan wouldn't give up, Vahn knew that and wished it wasn't true. Vahn would have to let everything go and run, run not for his life, but for those he actually cared for. Now Vahn knew why he hated emotions, why he hated love, in the end it was the most painful thing one could bare. Having to let go of those you love so much, let go of what you want most. Life had never been kind or fair to Vahn, but that was how life was. He could only do what was in his power to do, Reagan was dead yet he walked this world. Someone whose life no longer could be taken would be hard to kill.
Vahn hoped Reagan didn't seek to gain anymore advantages, if Vahn couldn't kill him, he could at least trap him.
