Most ladies probably woul dhave gone white when he dropped the sheet. But she had seen few of the men she healed naked, other had been dead. Calesta's eyes went to him wondering what other power resided within his body. Her eyes went to his face as he walked closer to her, eyes going to the wall as his mouth came near her ear. ?Next time perhaps I?ll have you on your knees for a different reason.?

He let a small smirk play itself back upon his lips as he leaned in to bite at her neck, canine teeth seeming dangerously sharp as they pierced her neck and let her own blood flow. He sucked on her neck a bit, taking the sweet nectar of her blood, just one of a few things he wanted the sweet taste of. His back straightened itself out, as he then proceeded to walk out of the room before the woman, going in search now of the dining hall where he could find some food.

Gasp left her lips feeling the nip of his teeth on her neck. Calesta followed his form as her hand went where he nipped her. There was a wetness to the spot, pullingher hand back to get a look at her fingers. Redness covered them some, bringing more wonder about him.

Taking a deep breath she helped clear her head some. Seeing there was nothing more to do here she headed back to where Cordy was. There was lot to do before she even thought of hunting him down to ask him a question.

Calesta walked into the room seeing all those that needed healing of their wounds. Quickly she found a man and knelt beside him an dlooked after his wounds. As she got done with one she moved to another doing what she knew best.

Raven smiled down upon him as he spoke to her. Slowly and softly moved her hand through Longinus' hair.

" Lady Raven...if I die at least let me say this to you now, before it's too late. From the moment I saw you, the moment our eyes met, I began to see a world like no other. A world warm and colorful, reflected in your eyes, it was like waking from a long sleep. When you came to Belgada to save me, you showed me a kindness I hope to repay someday. A kindness that will forever burn in my heart and guide me wherever I go. I understand things better since I've met you, I know that I do not have to struggle alone in this world. There are those like you that are willing to lay their lives on the line for their fellow human beings. Those willing to show kindness in the midst of cruelty, willing to go great distances to save a tortured soul like me. For that I am in your debt, but also for being that way I also..love you."

All emotion left her face as he spoke words not heard by her in years. The hand that was moving through his hair came to rest above his right temple. It brought great ease to know that they felt the same for each other. Raven leaned down and placed a kiss upon his cheek as he closed his eyes.

Raven stood up and grabbed the first person to pass her by. Looking the person in the eyes so they took her serious. "You will find a healer right this second for this man needs immedate attention. If he dies it will be on your head, thus you will pay for it happening." She lowered the person to the floor and let them go, eyes watched the person run off. Turning back around she knelt back down along side of Longinus.

Her heart told her to tell him her feeling in hopes that it helped keep him there. Leaning over closer to him, eyes upon his face "I love you too."

Meredith watched her mother go help the man into the manor. Only stopping long enough to ask them to look after their sister. Her eyes went to Belle.

"Great she goes off with a man and we get the dirty work. I say that we just let the birds have her and get something to eat. After all she is only going to end up back with the earth either way she goes."

With caring eyes Belle watched her mother disappear with the man after asking them to tend to Tempest's body. Swinging a leg over she slide down the dragon and landed on the ground. hearing her sister's words she turned glarig at her.

"Tempest may not have been around to be the aunt she should have been. That does not bring cause for her to be eaten in the place of a warrior's funeral. Now get down here and help me see to her body."

Slowly Meredith got down off her dragon, feet landing back on the ground. Taking a deep breath she followed Belle over to Rycore to tend to Tempest. She gently grabbed Tempest's feet and pulled bringing her body down.

Belle grabbed hold of Tempest's body as it came down. Slowly she headed to the door of the manor. It seemed that Meredith and Tempest had things in common, but she would never say that out loud.

As his blade went through a Darkthorne he noticed that that they were thinning out some. Out the corner of his eye he saw a man fall to his knees. Pulling the dagger from his waste he tossed it at the heart of the Darkthorne attacking him. Nikko made his way to the man and helped him back to his feet. As quick as he could he made his way looking for a place to get the man help.

His eyes fell upon a people that were heading to a manor little ways from them. Seeing his horse feeding little ways away, gave a whistling getting its attention. It trotted over to him. carefully he got the man upon its back. Once the man could hold himself there he led the horse to the manor. His eyes looked over the dragons that rested before the manor. Nikko left his horse where they were and carried the man the rest of the way. He was not up to having his horse be a meal to one of them.

Carefully he opened the door and took him in looking for where the injured. After looking for a bit he laid the man on the floor so to be looked after. Nikko wandered the room looking to those that were hurt his eyes go feral as the scent of blood came stronger.

Just as she stood up a lady ran buy with fear in her eyes. Calesta stopped her to see what bothered her. Hearing what had happened put some anget in her but understood what the lady had be going through. She grabbed things that she may need and headed over to man. Calesta looked down at the woman not happy with her.

She knelt down and looked that the deep wound on his leg. Getting a rag wet she started to clean it out so to keep infection from settling in. Taking a container from her pouch with salve in it. As she opened it she looked to the face of the Longinus. "Bear with me as I put healing salve upon your deep cut. There may be a slight sting to it but guarentee that it will help heal you." Carefully she rubbed the salve over the cut being gentle as possible.

Without taking her eyes from the wound she spoke to Raven. "You had no right to speak to the anyone as you did that woman. I do not care if he was dying you needed to keep your cool. For your information this man will live, right now he mostly needs plenty of rest."

Calesta gathered her things and stood looking about for another to help. Moving over to a chair she took a seat as she looked over those that were hurt.

She was in shock. "Leave Demise?!" The idea of Honor leaving her land was...unthinkable. Cordelia considered her the very heart of Demise. "Mlady you cannot! If you left the land think what might happen."

The noble lady walked down the staircase to the injured. "Cordelia..ultimately.." she reached down and picked up a long apron one of the physicians had put down while taking a break, covering her ebony locks with white kerchief and washed her hands. "..people are like snakes. You can feed them every day, raise them, nurture them but in the end...they will turn on you." Her voice carried a dark undertone.

Was her Majesty speaking of her brother or herself? Or was she speaking in generalities? Cordelia could only speculate. Honor may not be as blind about Vahn's true nature as she had once thought. Tears came to her eyes. Poor lady, many admirers and allies yet so alone.  She sighed holding out a towel for her lady to wipe her hands.

The Demise Queen led the legion of physicians, mages, healers and priests, organizing them to formiable triage. Wounded were efficiently assessed and tended;while the dying were made comfortable or humanely put out of their misery. There was no time to dwell on intrigues as life hung in the balance for hundreds of her soldiers and their allies.

Cordelia ran back and forth fetch medical supplies for Honor and Calesta, helping where she could alerting able-bodied musketeers to bring in the her cousin's patient to a private parlor. She sat down beside Calesta handing her a roll of fresh bandages. "Need  anything?"

Vahn thought about his sister, how much had he sacrificed in silence for her? So much, yet when she brought him back, he thought she was happy now, that he could live his own life. But Reagan had to come back, now more then ever Vahn had to protect her. He'd give Reinne a chance and then Honor, before he left to the Domina islands. He would go there perhaps to hide, or perhaps to lead Reagan there. A place were the two of them could fight it out once and for all. Whoever died there would never come back at least, Vahn knew a secret about the islands. A secret of the Thorne's lost long ago, but found by accident on one of Vahn's travels. Vahn rose from the bed, making his way over to his tattered clothing. This wouldn't do, but did it matter anymore, did anything matter? Reagan would strike when he least expected it, which meant it could be any time.

Vahn was just wasting time standing here in Demise, did he want to lead Reagan here? No Honor was here and that just wouldn't do, he'd have to lead Reagan far away. Vahn couldn't kill Reagan all those years ago, and he doubted he could now. Reagan must have watched them from hell, watched and waited for freedom. Reagan wouldn't give up, Vahn knew that and wished it wasn't true. Vahn would have to let everything go and run, run not for his life, but for those he actually cared for. Now Vahn knew why he hated emotions, why he hated love, in the end it was the most painful thing one could bare. Having to let go of those you love so much, let go of what you want most. Life had never been kind or fair to Vahn, but that was how life was. He could only do what was in his power to do, Reagan was dead yet he walked this world. Someone whose life no longer could be taken would be hard to kill.

Vahn hoped Reagan didn't seek to gain anymore advantages, if Vahn couldn't kill him, he could at least trap him.

She put all her thought into looking after those before her. Always making sure to make the cleaning of any wound painless as possible. So to make things move faster she had made a container of healing salve.  Calesta looked to the man's face hearing him grunt from the pain. Face cringed some as she continued to cover the wound with the salve. She wiped as much as what remained on her fingers so not to waste it.

Smile crossed her lips seeing her cousin come sit by her. It was good to have someone to talk with, leanig over some touching her cheek upon Cordy's shoulder.

"Need anything?"

"Another pair of hands would be nice if you can provide them. But really knowing that the wounded are slowly would be a nice thing. For I am not sure how much longer I am going to be able to last. Seems no more do I help one more come in."

Taking the fresh bandages from Cordy and laying them on the other side of her. Taking some of them and laying them over the salve, so to keep it clean.
