Description: The infamous Fighting Pit of Naethryn provides solid, brutal, bloody and violent entertainment to the Wamphyri Lords and Lady and non-vampires alike. Built of uncommon gray stone, it stands about six stories high at its outer edge, with a special seating section for Radu the Ferenczy and Atra'Lamia and their retainers. The only rules of or on the floor of the arena is " Enter of your own free will," and " Kill or be killed."
Combatants include paid Gladiators, vampiric warrior creatures, or random citizens alone or in a group ( here to settle grudges ), trained or wild beasts, monsters, or any combination of the above. In addition, escaped thralls or servants, slaves ( who break the rules of their Lords and Lady ) are often brought here when recaptured as punishment, assuming no one else claims them, to be given to the warrior creatures for combat practice. Such captives are killed ( or at least wounded ) and then eaten, their unwanted remains thrown to the ghouls that wander in the deeper darkness of Naethryn.
